Program Manager - Powertrain - IIT/NITIE

You have Full-Time Graduate Engineering Education in Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics from a Reputed/Premiere College like IIT, NITIE or Post graduation from premier institute with 5-12 years of experience working in Project Management, Program Management , Product Management of building products in an Automotive 2W, 3W, Powertrain, Drivetrain OEM , EV , Automation ventures. Or EA to CEO/Directors

You are data-oriented and believe that everything can be measured, since - what gets measured gets improved. You have a good understanding of funnels, cohorts, sprint & agile ways of working and tracking project and program. You are comfortable with ambiguity, believe in first principles. You have empathy towards users and colleagues, are creative and excited by ideating/building. You have the business acumen to appreciate and understand levers for business growth and profitability. You seek high ownership, independent environments and feedback oriented cultures.

What You'll Be Doing

- Monitor critical path of high impact strategic projects to ensure no cost overruns, timely project completion and as per agreed scope.

- Develop project plans and consolidate these plans to provide business level single view.

- Conduct project /Gate review meetings, clear road blocks and proactive escalation of open points to HOD and MD level.

- Meet all scope changes, timelines, issues, cost etc

- Train projects teams on project management practices

- Handling product life cycle starting from Capturing Voice of Customer, Feasibility Study, Evaluation of Product Specification, Innovation driven concept generation, Cost Evaluation, Prototyping and Development Planning (APQP), Sample development, Design Validation and Reliability, Lead customer audits, Production Line design & development and Handover to serial Production (SOP).
