Program Manager
Planning, Scoping, Budgeting :
- Looking the overall business transformation picture and decising where the IT program should fit in
- Discussing and agreeing with all stakeholders, sponsors on the scope, timelines and budget the first cut highlevel based on the busienss case
- Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.
- Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
Program Execution :
- Organizing the program in alignment with the vision, mission and goals of the region/OE/organization
- Long-term planning and breaking it into milestones
- Deciding on the best suited project methodology
- Managing a team with a diverse skillsets, distributed across locations
- Deciding on resourcing plans, related costs, delivery model
- Ensure that the software product is delivered in time and with the defined quality
- Make sure, that all prerequisites for effective work of the delivery team are in place this includes all required infrastructure, processes and people
- Remove all impediments that slow down project delivery
Change Management :
- Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved on time with in budget
- Analyzing the value proposition of scope creep and make recommendations
- Analyzing program risks, planning mitigative action and ensure that they are closed
Communication and reporting :
- Establishing a sound communication plan with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
- Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
- Establish a mechanism to perform periodic reviews and to take corrective Actions
