Program Manager - DEI, Student Programs Student Programs (SP) is responsible for attracting, hiring, and integrating the best student talent from all backgrounds to build the future global workforce. SP is looking for a Sr. Program Manager for driving the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy for Amazon. The Sr. PM's primary objective is to support stakeholder groups to hire the diverse talent through SP as a centralized, efficient, and high-volume recruiting engine. The Sr. PM will define and deliver programs with impact across APAC region in close partnership with global Student Programs peers. These programs will be solutions and mechanisms that resolve significantly complex problems and provide a long-term beneficial impact on a large customer segment (students, business and HR stakeholders). These could include deep-dives on particular program areas, as well as identifying new opportunities. - She /He will develop and enhance Student Program's adoption of products, oversee rollout of central programs and drive improvements in quality of processes in the business operations across APAC region in a scalable manner. - She /He will be responsible for leading, owning, planning, strategizing and executing the process adoption by partnering with teams across multiple countries in the APAC region. - She /He will ensure benchmarking, quality adherence and drive dynamic funnel management to ensure the demand and sourcing are synchronized. - She /He will also drive optimization of assessments process in candidate selection. - She /He will be required to partner closely with various stakeholders including business leaders, tech teams, central teams in global biz ops, recruiting managers as well as peers from other regions. The candidate must possess program/project management background with demonstrated experience leading simultaneous initiatives as well as extensive experience across the breadth of program management work streams. Core Responsibilities:- - Define structured approach for process adoption and program manage newly launched products till handover to stakeholder teams. - Build project plans, products and mechanisms to operate and audit programs across multiple tracks, business segments and locales. - Independently manage complex programs from concept through pilot and full implementation. - Structure approaches to solving complex operational problems and develop key hypotheses. - Drive and manage detailed data analysis to shape and scope solutions; ability to partner with and influence teams and stakeholders at a global level. - Be willing to "roll up sleeves" and operate with limited guidance and in ambiguous situations. - Set metrics and monitor the effectiveness of ongoing strategies; recommend and implement changes as required.
