Program Manager - Consumer Durable

Program Manager (India) for a Leading US based Consumer Durable Company

Purpose of the role :

Plans, monitors and manages projects in support of the Focused Market Development Strategies and Plans, from initiation through completion. Works with Strategy and in-market Leader to transform strategic vision to an actionable approach and sets of deliverables. Leads or coordinates project planning, progress reporting, risk management, team and stakeholder communication and management. Ensures project results meet requirements regarding stakeholder and business outcomes, quality, speed, schedule, and cost. Recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions as required to support program deliverables.

Job Accountabilities :

1) Manage process for detailed tracking of initiatives e.g. weekly touch point with initiative leaders

2) Co-identify issues with initiative leaders and document recovery actions

3) Track implementation of agreed actions

4) Activity owner of selected growth initiatives

5) Identify and drive closing of resourcing or capability gaps together with initiative leaders

6) Prepare regular and timely updates to FMD and Global Sales leadership team on portfolio progress and key challenges

7) Identify and highlight specific initiatives needing senior leadership attention or approval

8) Resource/Capacity Planning for FMD Portfolio of Programs

Parameters for Success :

1) Develop and Mature the PM capabilities within FMD

2) Provide Portfolio status at the FMD and Global Sales Leadership Level

3) Timely implementation of FMD Program deliverables through collaboration with Program Managers and Market Dev. Leaders

4) Alignment and Progress on Cross-Functional Programs

5) Timely and precise communication of initiatives progress and key issues

Required Skills and Competencies for the role :
