Vedantu - Category Manager (1-3 yrs)

Key Job Purpose :

- Program Manager (Category) would drive growth & revenues for the category. He/She would use data and analysis to conceptualize growth projects and drive execution through collaboration with sales / marketing / academic / engineering teams. He/she would develop strategies to launch new or modify existing products that could improve their category's overall performance. This would also involve conducting primary & secondary research to benchmark the category against industry trends.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Lead the category, analyze data & create a roadmap to achieve key category metrics.

- Constantly explore ways to improve acquisition, engagement & retention metrics through improvement in product, pedagogy and content design.

- Should be able to run experiments, reach out to consumers & dive deeper into the marketing & sales funnels and build actionable insights that help grow the category.

- Conceptualize & drive projects across multiple stakeholders based on the above insights.

- Maintain Monthly and Daily active users at target levels

Pre-Requisites :

- Minimum 2 years of experience working in high growth start-ups/ consulting.

- Experience in driving high impact, cross-functional projects at scale.

- Excellent communication and strong program management skills.

- High aptitude and hunger to work on the unknowns and solve problems.

- Ability to analyze large data sets. Knowledge of SQL will be a plus.

- B.Tech/MBA from top tier colleges.
