Position Title and level : Program Manager, Academia Reporting to : Head, CoE for Data Science &amp; Artificial Intelligence Purpose : - Responsible for strategizing, organizing and facilitating CoE's programs and activities towards Workforce Development &amp; Industry-Academia research. Identify, cultivate, and solicit support for acceleration of skilling of DS and AI professionals. Liaise with external constituents and partners regarding programs to deliver the committed deliverables.&nbsp; - General administrative tasks such as management/oversight of engagement agreements, project management, site visits to gather company and industry intelligence, development&nbsp;/promotion of academic programs, including presentations to relevant community groups to promote the awareness and mission of CoE. - Program Manager is used to the pressure of high-profile projects, and can effectively work with colleagues and partner ecosystem at all levels of the organization, whilst managing&nbsp;expectations of all parties and making sure to meet deadlines and other requirements. - All responsibilities carried out in accordance with Code of Conduct, values and guiding principles ensuring adherence to all applicable external contractual obligations&nbsp;and environmental obligations as applicable. Primary Responsibilities : Community &amp; Partnership Development : - Coordinate the development, evaluation and implementation of program goals,&nbsp;objectives, and activities related to academic programs, research, and skilling. - Manage logistics, planning, and execution of CoE's activities (programs, onboarding,&nbsp;outreach efforts, academic support programming, hackathons, showcasing, research,&nbsp;etc.) - Identify, onboard and engage Academia Partners to collaboratively achieve the CoE&nbsp;objectives. - In consultation with industry members, infuse appropriate courses &amp; curriculum for&nbsp;development of DS &amp; AI professionals. - Engage academic &amp; non-academic&nbsp;institutions for adoption of job related DS &amp; AI courses developed with assistance&nbsp;of industry members - Develop industry oriented research initiatives that identify, shortlist, onboard, and&nbsp;nurture researchers with support from Industry over mid to long term period to&nbsp;achieve the CoE objectives and develop innovative, impactful, financially sustainable&nbsp;DS&amp; AI research successfully - Disseminate knowledge through workshops, hackathons, business challenges,&nbsp;seminars, best practice sessions etc, to enhance knowledge base of learner- s&nbsp;community - Prepares and maintains a variety of records and reports related to assigned programs,&nbsp;including financial reports that summarize and/or outline incoming and outgoing funds - Interfaces and manages relationship with various external agencies, partners and&nbsp;government. Partner with other functional groups within the Organization and member&nbsp;network etc to ensure overall effectiveness of the CoE and provide visibility for CoE and&nbsp;its partners. Education &amp; Work Experience (to enter position) : - Bachelors- degree, MBA / PGD desirable - Excellent understand of technology with overall experience of 12+ yrs in which&nbsp;at least 5+ years in working with Academic institutions in area of / knowledge of&nbsp;skilling / training / assessment space having worked in an academic or related&nbsp;environment - Experience includes sales / partnership development and managing vendors&nbsp;and consultants Work Requirements : - Should be able to travel within Karnataka and India within short notice, for a&nbsp;short period of time for operational requirements of business - Should be willing to work from both partner and CoE locations as might be&nbsp;required from time to time
