GLOBAL MARKETS REGULATORY PROGRAM MANAGER

Responsibilities - 

- Responsible for Global Markets Regulatory program deliveries

- Lead various Programs/Projects within the regulatory program including team and people management of regulatory IT teams

- Interface with global and local Sr. Management & provide/present reports/Dashboard/information

- Effective Collaboration with vendors, other IT m- tiers, head office stakeholders, users.

- Develop long term plans to sustain and support the business and increase engagement to become end to end service provider globally on regulatory topics.

- Responsible to ensure deliveries are of highest quality and fully compliant with security norms and standards.

- Identifying needs and ensuring ideal solutions are developed in a timely manner to increase operational efficiency and also leading edge solutions.

Collaboration with stakeholders:

- Leverage strong domain knowledge and experience to quickly establish credibility.

- Build collaborative working relationships with business leaders, IT leads to ease integration of technology into the operations of the business.

- Seek input from stakeholders on internal operational challenges as well as innovations in their area and action it to improve the overall service.

Drive technology agenda:

- Identify gaps in existing systems and create actions plan to plug those gaps rapidly.

- Visualize business changes and create an IT/innovation mindset so that solutions are ready for the growth of business and subsequent scale-up.

- Promote automation on all areas that helps to improve quality and faster delivery

Qualifications

Personal characteristics:

- Result driven self-starter, able to work at a fast tempo;

- Energetic and engaging

- Hands on and assertive - prepared to get personally involved in the nitty-gritty to see plans through and overcome objections

- Mature, seasoned professional - comfortable with all levels of management

Essential Managerial expertise:

- Minimum 10 years of technology or Business Analysts leadership experience

- Financial services domain including regulations knowledge.

- Program management with experience in managing large programs

Essential Knowledge/Skills:

- People Management

- Program/Project management

- Functional & Technical knowledge of Capital Markets products, flows and applications.

- Good understanding of various Technology Platforms ( AIX/Linux/Oracle/JVM/Web ).

- Excellent communication skills/ positive outlook/ adaptable/ willingness to work with different teams/ team player/team leading capabilities.

Other Competencies:

- Good communication skill, both spoken and written

- Good interpersonal skills

- Strong will to succeed and overcome challenges

- Self driven and independent, with good initiative

- Visualize business changes and creates IT/innovation mindset so that solution is ready for the growth of business and subsequent scale-up.

- Promote automation on all areas that helps to improve quality and faster delivery
