Key Responsibility Areas:

- Directly responsible for financial accounting, audit, risk, corporate finance and statutory compliances.

- Manage all accounting along with Billing, A/R, A/P, Cost accounting & Revenue recognition, monthly financial statements.

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of annual budget with various departments, financial forecasts, and report variances. Ensure minimal deviations and appropriate reporting of the same.

- Cash flow management and fund allocation as per the agreed guidelines between the various stakeholders.

- Manage reconciliation with various business partners

- Manage the expectations of the stakeholders through providing them monthly MIS, accounts, cash flows statements, investor reporting, and legal compliance reports

- Monthly Financial Reporting including Consolidated Financials Ind AS, Expected Credit Loss, EIR etc

- Prepare quarterly and annual results deck, investment thesis and provide shareholders perspectives to top management and business leaders

- Co-ordinating with Statutory Auditors to ensure smooth audit closures

- Systems & Processes would be an integral part of the role; ability to set up systems and establish robust and scalable processes with the appropriate risk mitigation to be put into place.

- Ability to build controls and governance within the organization with a robust framework encompassing all departments & functions

- Mentoring and developing team members

Skills:

- A firm grasp on numbers.

- Passion for details and ability to explain them.

- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendation on business issues.

- Ability to work in team environment and manage and lead a team.

- Hustler and ability to get the work done

Qualifications & Experience:

- Proven track record of success as a value-added controller. The successful candidate should be a Chartered Accountant.

- Experience of over 8 years with 4+ years of Controller experience preferably from NBFC industry
