The Company is the recipient of the World Bank's "SME Global Product Innovation of the year", 2018 award. - Responsible for data mining, maintaining data systems/databases, statistical analysis to interpret data, and data presentation as per business requirements. - Building data models to solve business problems and able to extract valuable business insights from data - Developing automation tools, techniques and custom dashboards for insights and data visualization - Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible across data sets - Contributing to the design of robust systems with long-term maintenance and support of the developed applications - Transforming complex analytical models to tailor made solutions - Increase efficiency and improve performance by discovering patterns in data - Evaluating internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing, and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: - Familiar with visualization tools like Metabase and Tableau - Expertise in databases - PL/pgSQL and NoSQL - Good knowledge on scripting with Python / R - Ability to identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets - Developing software, macro and automation of processes - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
