Professor - Finance/Valuation/Modeling - Consulting Firm - CA/CFA/PhD (10-18 yrs)
- Prefer a Chartered Accountant/CFA / PhD with excellent academic record or strong post-graduate specialization in finance
- 15+ years of experience in teaching business valuation techniques / principles in reputed college or University
- Experience in building financial models on future business plan of companies and working on various valuation methodologies
- Experience in Financial Statement Analysis
- Ability to guide teams on dispute advisory matters and claim computation, loss of profits, etc. based on valuation principles and/or contract terms
- Experience in preparation of valuation reports and preferably reports in arbitration matters
- Ability to decipher and analyse contract and legal terms
- Exposure to Bloomberg, Capitaline, EMIS, etc. databases
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and communication skills
- Ability to strategise and structure problem-solving and analytical skills
- Preferably with consulting and advisory experience with excellent professional network
Responsibilities and their work profile at the organisation:
- Mentor, guide and coach projects in dispute cases involving valuation and calculation of business loss, opportunity loss
- Forensic analysis of financial statements, projections, business proposals etc
- Quantification of losses or claim based on valuation principles and/or contractual terms
- Review and evaluation of valuation reports submitted by counter parties
- Build valuation models and strategise for efficient way to apply valuation principles
