Position: Professional Services / Customization Head for Platform implementations to BFSI clients

Experience: 10+ years- technical experience with at least 1 year relevant experience as a Project Technical Manager

Location: Bangalore

Role & Responsibility

- Lead a team of 15+ developers managing a minimum of 2 simultaneous project executions.

- Will be responsible for team mentoring and technical growth of team members

- Hands on with Design, Coding and Performance of the system

- Will need to understand the business domain and identify requirements and constraints and translate these into technical solution(s) based on the business solution.

- Will need to work with multiple stakeholders across multiple teams to manage the execution

- Clearly communicate to management and customers (internal/external) on project status, risks, mitigation, issues etc.

- Will be required to evaluate requirements, assess feasibility, provide alternatives and come up with effort estimation

- Should have sound technical knowledge to understand product architecture and provide effective technical solutions & approach to the team

- Responsible for creating Technical Solution documents in conjunction with the customers IT teams when required

- Should know the SDLC in detail and able to measure metrics related to it

- Should be able to assess the quality and identify & implement improvements in quality of the project

- Ready to get Hands-on with code if required to mentor the team

- Should be able to provide technical guidance / hands on POCs etc. to the team when required

- Potential requirement to handle a small product development team (5+ team) on need basis in addition to professional services responsibility

- Domain Exposure to BFSI Preferred. Previous experience in Application development (or) product customizations in above domains

- Sound technical hands-on knowledge on J2EE stack, especially using Spring / Hibernate

- Working knowledge of any ESB technology like Mule / Camel / Fuse etc. with implementation

- Working knowledge of web application security concepts like cross site scripting, SQL injection

- Working knowledge of web service security

- Sound knowledge of Project Management Concepts. Should have managed a team of minimum 6-8 people earlier

- Exposure to ERP and technologies like BPMN, Rules Engines, ExtJS will be an advantage

- Able to take on hands-on work for guidance / POCs when required
