Production Manager - Refrigeration Products/Consumer Durable

This position is for a reputed Organisation in the field of Consumer Durables and Refrigeration Products.

The overall responsibility is to meet production targets, with focus on Cost Savings, Improved Product Quality and Productivity.

Essential educational qualification:

B.E./ B.Tech. or Diploma with specialization in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Industrial Engineering.

Responsibilities:

- To co-ordinate manufacturing processes and support services.

- To monitor the Business Performance Indicators of the production line

- To review daily production status vis-a-vis plan with team consisting of supply chain planner, production engineers, process engineers and maintenance engineers

- To monitor daily shipments, finish product stocks and production status

- To take corrective actions to improve the production trend to meet above parameters

- To facilitate the activities for production efficiency, zero loss study, zero defect manufacturing, productivity enhancement, capacity enhancement, TPM, etc

- To inspire / motivate team members / workmen to improve their individual and also organization performance

- To ensure that health and safety regulations are met and Work on reduction of first aid accidents
