Job Description : - Achieve BU measures based on Morale, Safety, Quality, Cost, &amp; Delivery - MIS preparation &amp; Analysis of measures &amp; implement action plans - Process flow, cycle time study, line layout &amp; line balancing - Follow Quality analysis tools like FMEA, Six Sigma, 7QC, SPC, RPS, 5W1H, in engine assembly processes of line - Ensure process corrective &amp; preventive actions completion in line - Facilitate the teams of Associates &amp; follow Team Based Work System - Strengthening the improvements through KAIZEN in the line - Monthly cost measures analysis &amp; control within target - Lead the Teams of Associates working in different shifts - Motivate the teams of associates in line, Achieve team measures/targets and take them to next level of development - Handle the line issues in respective shifts related to quality, tools, equipment failure or operator based issues. - Meet daily shifts production targets &amp; analyze &amp; implement the action plans - Adherence of product &amp; process audits in line to prevent defect generation - Adherence of all safety norms &amp; practices in line &amp; implement actions - Initiate &amp; implement corrective &amp; preventive actions in line to improve quality - Ensure Assembly Testing &amp; Painting smooth operations independently in shifts - Ensure continuous improvement projects completion thru Kaizens - Improve &amp; maintain 5S and cleanliness in line throughout the shifts - Interaction with internal suppliers and customers - Ensure equipment uptime thru Autonomous Maintenance in line - TS 16949 compliance in shop floor and participation in audits - Participate in performance review and development plans of team members - Use of problem solving techniques to resolve customer issue, rejection and improve production average per shift thru down time analysis with actions plan - Participate in Lean Manufacturing activities e.g. VSM, Bottleneck Management - Responsible for the daily activities of a production team including managing team members, housekeeping, and meeting production targets. - Work cross functionally to improve safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. - Serves as group lead on projects and work assignments. - Provides guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities. - Coaches and mentors team members. - Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
