Job Description - Production Head who would be reporting to the site director and spearheading the production function of the plant.

Our client is a global chemical manufacturing giant. They operate in more than 30 countries with 50+ manufacturing, R&D and operation units around the globe. They are currently looking to hire a production head for their manufacturing facility in Gujarat.
Description -
Reporting to the site director you would be responsible for-
- Overall functioning and operation of Dyes, Formazane DFP and FSC
- Strategic planning and implementation of overall production molecules in coordination with global Team.
- Leading, directing, and developing a high motivated team of supervisors for various production activities like manufacturing, raw material warehouse, etc.
- Optimum utilization of all resources, timely up keeping of assets in coordination with the engineering
- Developing, implementing and sustaining manufacturing procedures including risk analysis.
- Managing allocation of labour, capital resources to maximize productivity and quality.
- Implementing, developing and championing at any time the company's environmental, health and safety requirements.
Profile
Ideally you have a B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Chemicals and are from dyes, intermediates or specialty chemicals industry. You should have at least 12 to 15 years of chemicals manufacturing experience in batch process. You must have experience in managing unions skillfully with strong focus on EHS.
