Production Head - Manufacturing (8-10 yrs)

Organize Daily stand-up meeting for reviewing daily production status on the respective shop floors
- MPS (Master Production Schedule)- create, review progress and keep updated. Prepare MPS for three months and freeze MPS for next month. For example by 20th Nov the MPS should be prepared for Dec, Jan & Feb, with Dec plan frozen. This will be done on a rolling basis. The planning needs to be done with Sales Team representative based on market priorities.
- Based on MPS - create production orders in SAP (updated for next 3 months on a rolling basis)
- Inform production order numbers to purchase and ERP Admin for MRP run
- Release production order in SAP one day prior to production so that Line supervisor can issue full kit from stores
- Review, handover & discuss weekly & daily planning with Line supervisors
- Incase of change in MPS, inform PPC and purchase. Ensure change impact analysis is done
- Ensure the Daily Work Management Boards on the shop floors are updated with accurate data & tracking
- Work towards improving line productivity, achieving high FG Quality standards and Zero defect delivery
- Highlight BOM inaccuracy and material unavailability issues to PPC and work together to address them
- Work with Quality Manager (Inward QC) for In-process QC and ensure all observations are addressed before TP Inspection. Also work on taking preventive measures to avoid repetition of such Quality issues in Production
- Inform FG Quality Manager for scheduling Third party inspection
- Inform Sales, Stores and Logistics for dispatch
- Monitor loading activity during dispatch and ensure items loaded are as per packing list and Invoice. Take pictures during and after loading for reference
- Send dispatch confirmation to Sales
- Shop floor workers - Training, task allocation, hiring
- Prepare Reports and MIS
- Incase of customer complaint - analyse the complaint and provide resolution
