Product Specialist - Agri Commodities/FinTech

Position : Product Specialist - Agri Commodities

Location : Mumbai (Corporate Office)

Job Role : The incumbent will be responsible for chalking out pan India business plan and its corresponding numbers

- Ability to formulate the buying strategy for various commodity based corporates for trading through organization.

- Experience of handling private physical trade for various agricultural commodities basket for whole and processed pulses and their allied products.

- Handling a team of business development staff for execution of bilateral / negotiated and other price discovered trades and corresponding business targets associated for private trade.

- Adequate connect in the amongst the trade participants of commodities (Traders/Processors /Millers/Modern Retail/Cooperatives).

- Ability to build in trade synergy with importers and exporters.

- In depth understanding of the APMC mandi structure and different types of trades.

- Knowledge of Handling /Custom clearing / packing /storage /payment clearance mechanisms of commodities at the port locations.

- Liasoning with various stakeholders of the trade i.e. Warehouse service providers, Assayers, C&F agents

- Mapping the trade flow for various territories and devising a consistent trade mechanism through the digital platform across pan India.

- Coordination with the various departments to ensure the post trade activities, risk management and clearing and settlement of trades is concluded.

Skills Required :

1. Proficiency in written and spoken English, along with a presentable personality to represent the organization at the pan India level.

2. Exposure to technology and effective usage of the same in terms of web / app and tools.

3. Ability to write commercial proposals along with understanding of basic law.

4. Ability to prepare presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.

5. Ownership for assigned responsibilities and organization frameworks.

6. Ability to build and develop internal as well as client relationships.
