Key Responsibilities
1. Formulating long and short term procurement strategies in consultation with business head.
2. Timely purchase of raw material / Packing Material as per requirement.
3. Responsible for Looking after Supply Chain process across the country.
4. Prepare monthly purchase plans in consultation with Business Head.
5. Responsible for handling procurement and planning activities with proper demand forecasting & analysis.
6. Responsible for controlling the inventory at optimum levels.
7. Co ordination between the zonal offices (sales) and distribution network.
8. Responsible for controlling the cost of transportation/ procurement.
Competencies
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, Strategic & Analytical thinking approach, excellent interpersonal skills
Qualification:
- Preferably Agri graduate & MBA from reputed institute is must.
Experience
- The incumbent must have 12 experience in procurement and vendor development of raw material/ packing material in any agrochemical industry
