Position : South Asia - Product Safety Manager

Location : Bangalore

Reporting To : Global Product Safety Director

Our client is a leading producer of denim apparels in the world. It sells its products in more than 110 countries and operates manufacturing, distribution, and finishing facilities in the Americas, Europe, and Asia/Pacific regions.

Experience desired:

The ideal candidate should have:

- 8 - 15 years exp in Product (Apparel / Garment / Fabric) Safety.

- Should have worked with MNCs and/or leading Indian material handling equipment companies.

- He should have strong knowledge of product safety regulations, standards & trends.

- He should be a mature person in the age group of 30 to 40 years.

- Ability to handle diverse teams (operations & supply chain).

- Should be an excellent mentor who can train and develop his team members

- Strong man manager who can motivate his teams to perform and deliver.

Objective of the Job:

- The primary responsibility of the Product Safety Manager would be to manage Quality, Product Safety & Garment failure.

Job Description:

The incumbent will be responsible for:

- Implementing Product Safety processes.

- Adhering to globally accepted Product Safety Regulations and standards.

- Looking into Product failures by determining root cause and taking corrective action.

- Implementing globally accepted testing procedures.

- Implementing product safety standards along the supply chain.
