This is a leading domestic bank in an emerging ASEAN country. The bank is currently undergoing a digital transformation and as part of this, looking for a senior product owner.

Role: Product owner will be responsible for translating business vision to implementable product capabilities

Broadly:

- A member of scrum team responsible for translating business vision to epics and structure them further to product capabilities viz. features and user-stories.

- Responsible for defining and prioritizing features and stories, continuously.

- Owns and maintains on-going release and sprint backlogs.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing the product

- Co-develop product vision with stakeholders.

- Continuously create and groom product backlog and sprint backlog.

- Continuously prioritize, at all levels, based on business value

2. Setting work targets and priorities

- Define product requirements in form of clear unambiguous features and user stories.

- Lead sprint planning meetings from product perspective with requisite details.

3. Participating in squad development

- Align the entire scrum team to arrive at a shared understanding of product vision and user story details.

- Guide - intra-scrum team- handover synchs. prior to commencement and after completion of user stories.

- Escalate key functional topics, as reqd., in a scrum of scrums and other relevant fora.

Key deliverables:

- Product vision, roadmap and release backlog (with others)

- Sprint backlog

- Definitions of done (functional)

Experience/skills:

- Must have 7-10 years of experience working in Agile teams

- Experience in a mortgage product

- Communication skills

- Ability to make real-time decisions

- Problem solving ability

- Work with multiple stakeholders
