As the founding member of the Business team, you will primarily focus on marketing.

Since it is still early days in Web3, strong marketing is crucial in establishing yourself as a key player in the ecosystem. We are seeking a candidate who can effectively turbocharge our efforts around product marketing (positioning, how-to-guides, key use cases), content marketing across social media and blogs, presence at key conferences, and develop compelling case studies with marquee partners, and increase coverage in top Web3 media outlets.

We expect the ideal candidate to excel in some areas and have the right mindset to learn other skills on the job with help from the founders.Although there is a lack of defined playbooks for B2B SaaS + Web3 + Martech, the role is challenging. However, if you are a motivated individual who is eager to learn and build out the business function at a breakout early-stage startup, then apply here.

Key Responsibilities

Content marketing for the company across weekly newsletters, websites, social media, blogs, docs, Discord community, and in-product experiences

Product marketing to help define clear positioning for the product, how-to-guides, and webinars

- Work with strategic partners to publish and amplify key case studies

- Source and establish partnerships to perform joint marketing initiatives with other Web3 projects

- Increase our presence at key Web3 conferences by setting up side events, speaker chats, or booths

- Evangelize our brand in key Web3 media outlets like podcasts, newsletters, and publications

- Help certain strategic clients build up their marketing campaigns on our platform

- Define a compelling inbound lead gen strategy for our product given the opportunity to compete with existing products in the market

Must-have

- 1-2 years of experience running product marketing in technology OR a strong academic background in marketing

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with a strategic lens to understand the user and message to land

- Demonstrated ability to leverage data for measuring success and iterating on marketing initiatives

- Past experience building and establishing strong relationships with partners for running joint marketing initiatives

- Growth mindset to learn new skills quickly and make progress in ambiguity

Great to have

- Past experience working in B2B marketing

- Past experience growing a successful Web3 project

- Built out a strong brand as an individual creator

User growth in Web3 is broken. The Web2 tools & playbooks don't work. dApps struggle to acquire high-quality users and retain them meaningfully.
