Product Manager - Startup - IIM/IIT/NIT/ISB/FMS

Responsibilities:

- Define the vision, research and analyze market, the users, road-map and growth opportunities for product/multiple products

- Experience in developing Front end and Back end solutions

- Ability to transform marketing insights into viable products by working closely with Tech team.

- Deeply analyze customer need and develop a business case

- Understand and lead analyses of the competitive environment, customers and product metrics to determine the right set of features to drive engagement and usage on LinkedIn

- Data-driven - Solid understanding of data/analytics tools, and the ability to deep dive into data to make decisions.

- Develop a comprehensive product and marketing roadmap to deliver on business goals

- Work cross-functionally and with the Product Development team to bring features live to the site

- Clearly communicate product benefits to our users and internal stakeholders

- Collaborate with Product Architect and product marketing teams to translate business requirements into user stories for the development teams to implement.

- Work with Project Managers and Technical Leads to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles.

Qualifications:

- MBA /BE /B.Tech from Tier1 Institute

- 4-6 years of experience in Product management

- Experience building web products with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development and launch.

- Understanding of the most recent trends around consumer web usage including experience with social media

- Knowledge of the Internet, emerging web technologies and community building

- Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

- Technical background - B.E./B.Tech Degree or equivalent experience in a high growth tech company or startup. A strong technical understanding, from overall architecture to intricate details, is a major plus.

- Excellent communication skills - Ability to communicate seamlessly and clearly with engineering, design and executive management.
