Product Manager - Scooter Sharing Startup - IIT/NIT/IIM/ISB

About the Company

On a hyperscale journey, having grown at a 15x in the past few months, the company is India's largest scooter-sharing platform. They are providing the cheapest option for short distance commute. The company is backed by some of India's marquee investors and have raised $100m in December 2018. The founding team are alumni of IIM Ahmedabad, ESSEC Paris and IIT Bombay with deep experience across business strategy, operations and technology at consumer internet giants like Flipkart, Lazada and Amazon.

What you will do

- Internalize and deeply understand the mission and strategies of the organisation and the team.

- Lead the creation of pragmatic, prioritized, actionable roadmaps that effectively distill vision and strategy into efficiently shipped product results.

- Drive innovation, generate and validate new data, tactics and product ideas that maximize business impact

- Be creative - relentlessly identify new ideas and data sources to solve very difficult problems

- Distill the vision and strategy for the team to generate enthusiasm

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the operations, growth, customer care and engineering teams to ensure alignment with business objectives

- Monitor and measure launched products and feed insights back into product development process.

- Clearly communicate product plans, benefits and results, as appropriate, to riders as well as internal stakeholders.

Requisite skill set

- Entrepreneurial folks with between 2-10 years of experience across the full lifecycle and managing teams.

- Strong PM execution skills are a given; including but not limited to creating clear roadmaps; cross-functional collaboration; relentless prioritisation; understanding the difference between experiment, MVP, and whole-product; strong communications; and experience rolling out multiple products to market at scale.

- Exceptional communication skills, both within your team and with leadership and stakeholders.

- IIT/IIM / ISB / Top NITs preferred.

- Ability to internalize and understand their hybrid technology / operations nature.

- An understanding of how to scale: should have worked in an organization from Series A to a minimum scale of 20K orders per day.
