Product Manager - Payments - IIM/FMS/MDI/XLRI

Responsibilities:

- Re-create the consumer journey of Payment Products and create new industry benchmark with success rates. Lead Issuers and Acquirer products along with reporting, analytics, reconciliation, settlement tools. Own the end-to-end product go-live and work closely with business teams, merchant partners and technology teams.

- Launch new innovative Payment methods for customers that throttle customer delight and set new benchmark. Be on top of the voice of customer as well as the happenings in the competitive landscape and the industry as a whole.

- Devise a go-to-market strategy and execute this to perception alongside your cross-functional peers to successfully drive a given product launch into General Availability with the maximum possible impact. Be the internal and external authority and advocate for your given area of focus.

- Define the product strategy and roadmap and co-ordinate with various functions to translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes. Run beta and pilot programs with early- stage products and prototypes. Translate roadmap into detailed requirements that provide clarity to complex problems and work with user experience/design, technical architecture, engineering and QA to execute and deliver high-quality products.

- Lead and/or work within a cross-functional, highly dynamic, and multi-disciplinary team to develop new digital products and functionality from discovery, requirements definition, UX design, build, and testing through to launch and iteration.

- Work Closely with the MD, to organize and align strategic priorities with members of the senior leadership team, act as a gatekeeper of tasks that can be resolved without direct involvement of MD.

- Work closely with Engineering teams to optimize resources and deliver within turnaround time.

- Ensure smooth coordination amongst different engineering teams to deliver a seamless product.

- Create and execute all product visual design from concept to final hand-off to engineering.

- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.

- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

Skills & Qualifications:

- 3+ Years of relevant Product Management, development and marketing experience. Experience in designing Web & mobile user interface, banners and user flows.

- Very strong knowledge, expertise and hold on Digital Payments, Merchant Solutions, Loyalty Programs, Consumer Product Development.

- A natural storyteller. Have strong empathy for users and is able to effectively communicate and engage with your audience-across technology and business with the ability to clearly articulate product vision and requirements.

- Demonstrated ability to work closely and effectively with engineering, data science, design and other functions to ship successful products. Demonstrable experience in product conceptualization, design and development using the Agile/ SAFe methodology.

- 'Can do' attitude and comfort with working in fast paced, unstructured start-up environment.

- Facilitative leadership and interpersonal skills to quickly gain shared vision externally and internally to move things forward under strict timelines.

- Outstanding product skills - including product management, development and marketing. Energetic self-starter with the ability to work independently in a competitive and fast-paced environment

- Instinctive ability to connect with potential partners, customers and deliver customer-driven innovation based on understanding of unique customer needs and to define the desired end-to-end customer experience.

- Knowledge on Mobile app and SDK development along with AWS platform would be helpful

- Education: Relevant post-graduate degree (e.g., MBA) from a top school in India. Technical background or excellent technical chops to bridge the gap between business and technical goals.
