Product Manager - Paint Manufacturing Firm (12-17 yrs)

Product Manager


Our client is leading Manufacturer of Decorative & Industrial Paints at East Africa.

Job Responsibilities :

To manage existing products to ensure profitable margins are attained by maximizing their acceptance and potential:

i. Monitor products' performance in the market.

ii. Oversee market research on products, analyze results and provide recommendations based on findings.

iii. Assess products and ensures they meet required margins.

iv. Create products' knowledge in the market and innovate ways for greater acceptance.

v. Advise on continuous products improvement to increase presence and margins.

vi. Participate in new product developments (NPD) for introduction in the market to maintain market lead and generate new revenue for the company.

vii. Conduct competitors' product analysis to monitor CPK - PLC products quality & plan product improvements (PI) to maintain the competitive edge.

viii. In conjunction with R&D, conduct trials at customers' place for all new/existing products as required for standardization.

ix. Coordinate technical training to teams and serve as a technical mentor to sales team members.

x. Participate in the implementation of EHS / ISO and good housekeeping standards.


DESIRED PROFILE :

- B.Sc. + PGD (Paint Technology)

- 10-15 years experience in Product Management, New product development and handling the entire life cycle of the Product in any reputed Paint Mfg. Company.

- Should be technically strong and good Knowledge of Paints.
