Job description 1. Recommend the scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas to increase sales and profit 2. Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products. 3. Obtain product market share by working with sales director to develop product sales strategies. Support the sales teams through ride along, diagnostic visits, developing large customers, building competency. Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with Sales, Business Heads, Product Procurement Managers. 4. Monitor Sales &amp; Gross Profit development on a daily basis &amp; take strategic actions to ensure that both are on target. 5. Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing sales costs and anticipating volume. 6. Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses.
