Product Manager - Lending/FinTech

Our client is one of the oldest fintech companies that is taking banking and financial services to all the customers through their online platform. Having served over 50 million customers in the last 15 years, it is enabling over 7mn banking transactions each month, with a network of nearly 2 lac merchants. Using its vast network of merchant outlets, the platform is reaching the lower and mid-income groups who deal in cash, for them to be able to remit money across the country digitally. It now plans to take its unique digital financial solutions to developing markets across the globe. As pioneers of mobile-based payment services in India, they empower Retailers, Individuals and Businesses to have an online presence and earn or save a little extra through the transactions.

As a Product Manager - Lending, you will be responsible for defining, delivering and scaling lending solutions while leading a cross functional team in creating and launching innovative experiences across desktop and mobile interfaces.

What you will do :

- Developing a clear product strategy and the product roadmap for the company's lending business

- Working closely with the engineering team to guide and drive the roadmap

- In tandem with business, engineering and other leads, develop appropriate planning, prioritization, and release management processes

- Driving superb execution against plan, anticipating risk and leading discussions via frequent, clear communication (both internally and with customers)

- Owning the business metrics driving scale, NPAs, revenues, efficiency and experience

- Working closely with business to build the growth road-map

Desired Candidate Profile:

What you need to have:

B.E./B.Tech and/or MBA

3-5 years of lending-product or lending-business management experience where you have played a significant role in the creation of new lending products/ businesses

B2C product management experience, preferably in lending tech startups

Solid understanding of the lending ecosystem and the underlying operations in the credit cycle

A strong technical background, enabling meaningful contribution to technically-driven features

Ability to identify the key customer segments/personas and their motivations

Driving initiatives across multiple teams/ stakeholders

Strong communication skills

Product Mindset with design first thinking

Agility and endurance

Awareness of latest industry trends, competition
