Job Description - Team Leader - Insurance (Role Based in Mumbai)

We are searching for a Team Leader - Insurance to evaluate and research trends and opportunities in the market. In this role, you will reviewInsurance products, markets, interact with various stakeholders for launching wide range of products and support sales and partners togenerate business.

To ensure success, you should be well-versed in financial markets, insurance products across industry (Life, Health and General Insurance), have a keen eye for detail, and be proactive in finding business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assessing Insurance products available in the market for business opportunity and arrive at Strategic ideas with product roadmap to grow the category revenue, pricing and P&L

- Work closely withInsurance Companies, Sales, Customer Service or support team, Operations, Technology etc. to improve customer experience, retention, identify avenues to increase wallet share for cross-selling/up-selling at a product level

- End to end product management by understanding customer, market need to design product offering, devise and execute digital and other campaign.

- Managing and developing a team of Insurance product managers to build up their knowledge and skill set. Oversee day to day activities of the team members to deliver on actionable and consistent support on a time bound manner

- Monitoring business activation, unique sales person activation, ATS, issuance, persistency, regulatory compliance.

- Engage with clients, partners, Sales and management throughout the year to share insights and opportunities in financial markets and portfolio management.

- Compiling financial data into insights reports for other team members and stakeholders.

- Be a subject matter expert in Insurance

- Currently working as Principal Officer as per IRDAI or having Valid Principal Officer Certificate will be preferred

- Technology and integration experience along with Process Orientation, Problem-solving abilities and negotiation skills

- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills and confident of confident of presentation abilities with internal and external stakeholders.

- Thorough understanding of financial markets and insurance strategy.

- Ability to cope with competing demands and multitasking

- A team player who can work and think independently.
