JOB BRIEF

1. The role is to interface with the customers to understand their requirements and communicate the same clearly and holistically to the development team.

2. The role requires envisioning technology products basis business vision, and understanding the objectives behind a requirement.

3. The role requires prioritisation of product features.

4. The role requires successful and timely delivery of products and product features through a structured developmental approach.

5. The role requires analysis and brainstorming of different aspects of a product with business stakeholders and development team.

6. The role requires strong convincing and persuasion skills in case business stakeholders need to be convinced about the right product or product feature for their respective problem statements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Timely delivery of product features to meet technology requirements of business. This will include -

- Accurate and timely communication to stakeholders

- Prioritisation of product features

- Analysis of business and product requirement

- Management of development process through the right approach

- Testing of the product

- Training of users after the release of the product

2. Ownership of the product. This will include -

- Periodic review of the product for inactive users

- Periodic review of the product for possible modifications

- Acting as product admin to keep the sanctity of configurations and maintaining confidentiality and security of data in the product

IDEAL CANDIDATE

An ideal candidate would be the one who possesses -

1. The will to learn, solve problems, and grow.

2. Very strong communication skills - both written and verbal.

3. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

4. Strong grasping skills.

5. Strong convincing skills.

6. One or the other following bachelor degree - B.Tech, B.Com, etc. Having an MBA is a plus but not a requirement.

7. The capability of finding the objective behind every requirement.

8. The capability of having a long term vision in mind.

9. Patience and adaptability.

10. Willingness to change for the betterment of the product or the process involved.
