Job purpose :
To take care of all aspects of the brand performance, plan and organise the implement brand strategy to ensure the development of the brand
Key responsibilities :
- Implementation of Brand Plans
- To constantly monitor the performance of brands in the market by monitoring market share, competition activity,
through active interaction with Regional/Branch Sales team.
- To obtain first hand feel of the brand performance in all focus markets through trade visits and interaction with trade and consumers.
- Initiate consumer research wherever necessary to obtain consumer insights as an input to brand strategy.
- Brand equity building: Develop the communication strategy for brands when necessary, develop agency briefs and co-ordinate with agency on developing communication for various brands.
- To constantly evolve ways to increase market share for each brand - assess the performance of such activity
- Act as matrix manager for a set of brands in a certain stipulated geographical area.
Qualifications :
- MBA in Marketing from a premier Bschool.
- Excellent communication skills
- Needs to have the ability to build an excellent rapport with all key contacts
- Analytical ability.
