UI/UX Lead - FinTech

They offer an instant revolving credit line for labourers and blue-collar workers, with an aim to improve the financial health of such workers in India. They help them to get short term cash, build their creditworthiness and connect them to the mainstream financial world. The company ties up with leading digital platforms and updates information about their earnings through their app while their digital infrastructure ensures a seamless lead and payout, and thereafter a repayment schedule.

With 12 digital partners, over 12000 users and more than a lakh app downloads, the company has been growing constantly for the past 2 years. The founders are alumnus of MDI and IIT-D, with immense experience in the tech and finance world, and can boast of partner clients like Swiggy and Grofers.

As a UI/ UX Lead, you will help define the User Experience for company's products and coordinate with tech team to implement a best-in-class User Experience for end users.

What you will do:

- Helping define the overall strategy for UI/UX, the roadmap, and business plan to achieve a best-in-class User Experience

- Actively prioritizing product backlog and coordinate planning with tech team and Driving UI/ UX best practices across the organization, including accessibility and usability

- Defining and creating story boards and user journey maps

- Working with internal & external stakeholders to understand and address usability issues

- Participating in UX demos and sign off UX deliverables to ensure high quality

- Fostering a collaborative relationship between tech team and UI/ UX team

- Helping develop processes to ensure orderly, predictable execution of deliverables

- Advocating UX research; assisting with the planning and execution of usability studies

- Conducting industry and competitive analysis, market and user research to understand the emerging trends in the ed-tech industry to identify new opportunities.

Candidate Profile:

What you need to have:

- Product thinking - ability to think strategically around a business and customer

- UI - hands-on-experience with UI tools i.e. Figma, AdobeXD etc

- Logical bend of mind - ability to handle ambiguity and solve problems, should be data driven

- Good storyteller - ability to create and sell a story, motivate all towards a vision

- Execution focused - ability to infuse execution, milestone focused

- Strong communication - ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
