Responsibilities :
Develop & Launch New/Variant Products :
- Do Market analysis/research for the defined product / customer / industry segment (including VoC collection).
- Derive product characteristics / specifications and define the USPs (unique selling points)
- Assess potential market size, current competitors and their product portfolios
- Develop Business Model & Financial Model (Cost & Benefit Analysis - ROI)
- Identify and evaluate Risks. Propose mitigation plans
- Understand MoP (Market operating Price ) and Finalize Product positioning & Go-to-Market strategies
- Facilitate Field Test (CUFT Customer usage feedback test) and collect Feedback
- Finalize Service strategy
- Release PIN (Product Initiation Note), PRN (Product Release Note) and MGPP (Multi Generation Product Plan)
- Provide Product Training to Channel & Corporate Sales Team
- Prepare Technical Materials for LDP (Learning & Development Team)
- Prepare Printed & Electronic Promotional Materials, Carton Artworks etc.
Provide Technical/Domain Expertise to Sales/Pre-Sales Team :
- Co-Calls with Sales team on High potential customers Product Presentations & Demo
- Lead Marketing Events / Exhibition stalls
- Provide product comparison and tender product spec compliance documents
Continuous monitoring Competition/Market dynamics for introducing Variants or New Features :
- Monitor and incorporate industry innovations
- Define new features and its market potential. Work with Engineering team to operationalize
- Publish periodical market information to internal team
Specific Knowledge :
Should have knowledge of :
1. POS & AIDC customer domains and
2. Thermal printing & Barcode/RFID technologies
3. Bio-metric & IoT Product domains
