We are looking to add 1-2 PMs to the product team in one of our portfolio company, Toddle App. About Toddle: - At Toddle, we help teachers do better what they do best - teach! - We do this by creating intuitive technology tools that empower teachers across all stages of teaching and leaning. Our mission is to amplify teaching for 60 million K-12 educators globally and support them in delivering meaningful and personalised learning experiences. - Our first product is a collaboration platform for IB PYP teachers. Be it curriculum planning or parent communication, student portfolios or reports creation, Toddle makes working together simple and fun. Within 9 months of launch, Toddle is being used and loved by 10,000+ teachers across the world. All our growth has been 100% organic and fuelled by positive word of mouth. Given this encouraging takeoff, we are confident that Toddle is ideal for the needs of progressive educators across the world. Over the next 2 years, our goal is to become the preferred teaching partner of more than 50% K-8 teachers across the world. The team : We are a diverse group of people (educators, engineers, designers) who have been fortunate to study at some of the best colleges - Stanford, Brown, IITs. We have experience of working in companies like McKinsey, Unilever, Sprinklr, Teach for India. We also own and operate a network of progressive preschools (www.todden.com); this gives us the opportunity to work in a tight loop with teachers and incorporate their feedback into the products and services we build. We are backed by leading VCs and Angel Investors. About the Role : We are looking for a strategic thinker and a data-driven decision maker to join our team in the role of Product Manager. The Product Manager will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with design, engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure engagement, revenue, and customer success goals are met. What you'll do : - Define the product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with design, engineering, sales, marketing and customer support teams - Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritised features and corresponding justifications - Be an expert with respect to customer needs - Iterate, iterate, iterate!! What we look for : - 1-3 years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS - Has an interest in designing products for education and knows the difference between good and great and can work through team dynamics and timelines to deliver excellent products - User focus and data-backed decision making - Experience with Scrum or other agile development - Bias-for-action and hands-on experience delivering business results. Within 3 months, you'll : - Understand Toddle's vision and product strategy - Understand International Baccalaureate as an educational framework - Shadow at least one customer interaction per week. Across Sales, Support, and User Research, to understand how Toddle users use the product - Participate in a fully-formed product development team as they take a feature to market - Participate in product reviews and give feedback on other team members work in progress - Know every corner of our Web app, Educator app, Family app and Student app. You'll get a sense of our strengths and identify opportunities for improvement With in 6 months, you'll : - Deeply understand our users and their needs by participating in user research. Talk directly with educators, coordinators, and school leadership team to learn about the challenges they face - Launch a product feature from start to end as the primary owner. You will work with Leadership, Design, Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success to design, build, and launch the right MVP. - Identify key success metrics for the feature and take ownership for evangelizing the feature with all Toddle's stakeholders. With in 12 months, you'll : - Establish, track, and report progress on product metrics and KPIs for leadership and the entire company - Own and drive a major, complex cross-functional product effort. You will enforce the correct scope, flag risks, and coordinate stakeholders. - Perform a metric-based analysis on a product area to understand how widely it is adopted, by what types of users, and if there are any fall-offs in the work flows. You will use this to inform product design and roadmap decisions. - Educate, mentor and train team members across the entire company on product methodology and philosophy
