Product Manager - eCommerce/Retail (3-6 yrs)

As a product manager for B2C, I have complete ownership across all aspect of assigned brands omni functionalities. Along with the ownership, will have to act as subject matter expert in defining any new functionalities. The new functionalities that would be built on would take into consideration competitor analysis and the mission of the organization. The new functionalities would be developed taking into consideration long term impact of the functionality

Before defining any new functionality, we take a buy in from all the required stake holders and only on approval, the required functionality would be developed. Any new functionality that has to be developed if required any down system changes, the same would be provided as a requirement and get the required changes done in required down systems

Major challenges (both internal and external):

The major need of any e-com business is to react fast to the competitors and customer's needs. Getting the required changes before losing the existing customer group would be a major challenge.


- Financial - Developing of functions to generate additional revenue through e-com vertical. ROI driven approach for all planned activities that will impact on key functional key metrics

- Product Roadmap - Identify areas of opportunities, develop short term and long term plans, which are customer centric features that will improve overall shopping experience and increase the conversion rate

- Consumer Insights - Focus on customer acquisition and retention across platforms by driving transactions and increasing lifetime value of the customers. Drive the importance of compelling features and functionalities in driving great customer experience that help on improving transactions and related critical e-com metrics

- Program Management - Identifying, scheduling, execution, and managing challenging opportunities and projects across cross functional teams. Work towards making the online shopping experience fun, seamless, satisfying and meeting the required ask from the customers. Ideate compelling features and functionalities in driving great customer experience that help on improving transactions and related critical e-commerce metrics
