Product Manager - eCommerce (4-7 yrs)
Job Description :
As a Product Manager at Heptagon, you will play a critical role in every aspect of the product development process - from figuring out the next big innovation that will make our users' lives easy, to working closely with engineers and designers to implement such features. You are expected to be highly creative, have principled thinking, and be extremely data-friendly, to not settle, manage work in a fast-growing and chaotic environment, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll-out products that deliver the company's vision and strategy.
Job Responsibilities :
- Drive product development from small features to entirely new products with a team of world-class engineers and designers.
- Define the product scope, strategy, and roadmap with prioritization based on business and customer impact.
- Write business/product requirements documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, design, and development teams.
- Monitor and measure launched products and feed learnings back into the product development process.
- Along with analytics, spend time with users and conduct user research to understand product gaps and make improvements.
- Develop core positioning and evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with the overall strategy and messaging across all communication touchpoints.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant 4 - 7+ years of work experience in product management or as an associate product manager.
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
- Ability to develop product and marketing strategies and to collaborate across teams.
- Excellent analytical skills to break down and solve complex problems. Past experience in handling data-based and highly analytical problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
