Product Manager - Data/Asset Manager/Asset Owner

Role Description:

We are looking primarily for individuals with experience working with data as a product, for the financial sector (preferably) but open to data-related backgrounds.

Objectives of the Role:-

Create and execute product management sprints in collaboration with a cross-functional team.

Write detailed and usable product specifications Document and maintain inputs, feedback and updates to product definition and development Conduct, document and effectively communicate market research insights to various internal stakeholders

Perform / facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of developed products / features

Design and manage customer co-creation sessions for scoping, validation and testing of products (product innovation)

Support the creation of product marketing, sales and knowledge materials

Any other tasks and responsibilities assigned owing to business needs and priorities

Coordinate a team of cross-functional resources (tech team, data delivery team, client services team) in product sprints

Eager to learn on the job (the role has a steep 5-6 month learning curve)

Able to communicate and manage up and across, regularly and effectively

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Minimum 4 - 7 years of experience working in Product or related roles

Experience working with big data and/or financial products (or both)

Skilled at using Jira & Confluence (required)

Skills at using wireframing and mock-up tools (required)

Business proficiency in English (required)

Experience in market research and analysis (required)

Project management experience (preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance or Business Administration (preferred)

Exposure to product innovation and management frameworks (preferred)
