Product Manager - Consumer Facing App - Food Startup

Position: Product Manager (Food domain)

- This is a senior position. RailYatri's food delivery on trains has rapidly grown to be a leader in this space. The Product Manager (Food Tech) will have the overall ownership of the product.

- You will be responsible for taking our Food Delivery offerings to the next level. You- ll ensure that millions of our users have the best experience while going about their food order experience.

- You should have a thorough knowledge of the food tech domain, the competitive landscape and the available offerings in the market.

- You should have a deep understanding of the developing & interpreting consumer profiles, traveller preferences and food purchase considerations of a traveller.

- You should have a view of the market trends and features that can lead the market.

- RailYatri is a deep technology and data-centric organization. The position is expected to leverage our extensive data science capabilities to build product & service differentiators.

- The position is also responsible for defining detailed performance metrics for the product and track metrics on a regular basis.

- The position will have a shared ownership of the revenue targets.

- The position will own the product experience across all platform - app, mobile web & desktop web.

- The position will work closely with engineering, marketing, data science teams. The ideal candidate will have deep and proven experience of driving innovation & growth in online bus travel products.

Desired Experience & Skills:

- At least 6 years of overall experience with 2 years of Product Management in the food tech domain.

- Proven ability to translate consumer needs into business and product requirements.

- Understanding of consumer-facing e-commerce mobile products.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple, competing for priorities simultaneously.

- Should be able to think strategically and execute methodically and tactically.
