Role Description We are looking for aspiring product managers who will work with the Product team and get 'in-the-pipeline' products to a market-ready stage. In this role, you would be the acting owners of different GIST products and would be responsible for their development, upgrade, and maintenance in the future. The role demands excellent problem solving and collaboration skills and includes a significant share of hands-on work. To excel in this role, you would need design-thinking skills and and analytical mindset. On top of that, efficient task management, stakeholder management, ability to write / maintain product documentation and market research are some of the necessary skills required. We are looking primarily for individuals with start-up experience. Objectives of the Role - Create and execute product management sprints in collaboration with a cross-functional team - Write detailed and usable product specifications - Document and maintain inputs, feedback and updates to product definition and development - Conduct, document and effectively communicate market research insights to various internal stakeholders - Perform / facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of developed products / features - Design and manage customer co-creation sessions for scoping, validation and testing of products (product innovation) - Support and create product marketing, sales and knowledge materials - Be a part of newly growing team where your inputs will be valued - Any other tasks and responsibilities assigned owing to business needs and priorities - Lead a team of cross-functional resources without official authority in product sprints Requirements Required Mindset and Competencies: - Design thinking and analytical approach (able to break down things in MECE structure) - 'Get things done' attitude and driven by goals - Proactive and eager to take initiative and leadership - Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills - Excellent attention to detail and desire to deliver quality - Able to navigate multiple priorities and stakeholders - Eager to learn on the job (the role has a steep 3-4 month learning curve) - Able to communicate with higher-ups regularly and effectively - Business proficiency in English is required Preferred Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum 4-6 years of experience working in Product or related roles in start-ups - Experience working with big data or financial products (or both) - Knowledge of and/or interest in the sustainability domain is a plus - Experience with using JIRA, Miro, Confluence is preferred - Working knowledge of Project Management, Wireframing, Mock-up tools - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance or Business Administration is ideal (but this is flexible) - Exposure to product innovation and management frameworks is preferred - Experience in market research and analysis is preferred
