Product Manager - BFSI

Skills and Competencies :

1. Experience in analytics/technology solutions allied to bundled personal finance products will be preferred

2. Strong experience in platform Integration with respect to BFSI domain

3. Exposure to the design of technology platforms for personal finance

4. Exposure to large scale architectures and complex integrations in financial services or e-commerce industry

5. Exposure to API structure and their integrations with enterprise-level architectures

6. Analytical skills to evaluate various customer/product innovations

7. Good in data crunching to understand customer behavior and usage of the applications

8. Good understanding of processes & retail banking technology

9. Strong Project Management abilities

10. Awareness of best digital channel practices at a global level

Role and Responsibilities :

1. Working closely with business managers to understand product use cases, customer journeys, business applicability and impact of each use case to create and implement a decisive project plan and strategy from product development to launching of the new product

2. Ability to understand different technology platforms, their features and be able to work with solution architects/engineering managers and thus enable and guide the product team to write detailed product requirement documents, manage future roadmaps and deliverables

3. Ownership of existing products and identification of new product opportunities across the business lifecycle

4. Carry out product and process developments and enhancements whenever required

5. Lead the planning, scoping, and prioritization of projects to achieve short- and long-term growth targets

6. Keep track of best industry practices and perform industry benchmarking

7. Constructs API definition successfully & understanding of open banking APIs

8. Drive industry partnerships and relationships with respective partners

9. Explore new 3rd party products and services that the bank can leverage for its journeys

10. Act as key authority and point of contact for project development and control

11. Partner with sales, strategy, marketing, engineering, and design teams to bring the product vision to life

12. Collect, analyze and report on data and adjust development plans as needed to facilitate a successful new product rollout

13. Be a great storyteller, able to build a strong product narrative which clearly articulates the motivation for the project, goals, and path to success
