Product Manager for a Leading Bank
- Achievement of Business Objectives: Numbers, NAV and FD
- To provide business inputs to the GIB Channel & senior management: NAV, CIB, Numbers, Inc Val, ATS
- Developing a product proposition and solution. Check and analyze the Union and State budgets and provide fund flow visibility to the Channel.
- Opportunity sizing at state level and tracking the same .
- Focused drive to acquire granular business under and work in close coordination with RBB & CSC to create joint working business value.
- Drive the mandates to be obtained across the States, inputs on State treasury integrations, USP to counter SBI monopoly and other sales enablers to be shared (customized) at State level.
- To provide direction to all channels by releasing regular updates.
- Extensive calling at GIB NSH, GIB ZH & GIB SH level along with regular reviews of the Team to be scheduled for better traction.
- Highlighting contribution of all channels, trends in sourcing, segment wise sourcing patterns
- Identify segments from existing data that have high ATS and share the success of channels / zones that have sourced these segments
- Identify top & bottom performing sourcing channels / cluster or zones with low ATS
- Check the health of the portfolio by identifying the following accounts that affect the health of the portfolio:
- Non-funded accounts
- Inactive accounts
- Share the data with the Channel and sourcing teams, discuss actionable on the same & execute the actionable in a structured manner
- Identify performing sourcing channels/teams & share as well as replicate their success stories across other sourcing channels/teams
- Running drive at product and channel level
- Tracking success stories and replication of the same across states.
- Liaising with the Solution Team for Solution implementation
- Liaising with Central Team wherever Mandates / LOR required
- Close co-ordination with the Central Team, GIB Channel, Process Team, Marketing Team
- Global Mailer, Did You Know and Teaser campaigns for Channel and sourcing channels.
Exploring new markets and segments :
- Work in tandem with the SH / AH to identify new segments and opportunities
- Create a plan along with ZH, SH and AH and ensure execution for acquisition of business in identified markets/segments
- Customized Government, Institution offerings to suit the requirements of identified markets/segments
- Provide internal targets to ZH, SH and AH for achieving business in the new market/segment identified for having focused business approach
- Take assistance of seniors in Product or Sourcing Channel
- Provide inputs GIB Solution team for developing new solutions for the Segment
- Work in tandem with other product teams to have a bundled offering for complete product proposition
Customizing Offers :
- Help GIB channels customize deals/ accounts by reviewing profitability of each deal, and guide the sourcing channels accordingly.
- Making customized offers & presentation.
- Liaising with marketing to get translations for offer letter in regional languages as when required.
- Making collaterals and decks.
- Provide inputs for Training Content
- Spreading awareness of the product & its value proposition among channels by conducting training of all channels
- Ease documentation process by updating FAQs and updating channels & RDVUs on the required documentation
- Ensure compliance of RBI / MHA / NSCI guidelines for respective products
Customer and Field/Client Visits :
- Visits to prospective customers with ZH and SH
- Support channel to Ensure primary banking relationship for each customer
- Identify cross sell opportunities during customer visits
- Periodical visits to field/locations and meeting ZH/CH and sourcing channels for collaboration.
- Prepare customer level and location/cluster level plans for seamless business acquisition
- Implement successes gained in one part of the country and replicate it identified set of clusters/locations.
Business updates to senior management and team :
- Provide monthly updates on business to seniors in relevant sourcing channel/teams and Product
- Ensure clarity and accuracy of data and MIS
- Work with fincon on streamlining data and MIS on regular basis
- Management of Portal and Dashboard-
- Management of the Government Portal (Sub Folder) .
- Regular update on the content.
- All PPT, offer letters and Mandates needs to be updated.
- A dashboard for visibility of the Numbers and Value across states and channel.
- Revision of Brochures / Services & Fees Leaflets / Other Communication Material for customer communication
Competition and Market analysis :
- Understand and evaluating the Market Size/Opportunity and Competition Business Strategies
- Review competition offering on a regular basis
- Update the channels on the overall market opportunity and competition offerings
