Product Head - Payments Technology Firm (8-12 yrs)
Our client, a Payments Tech startup, enables UPI payments acceptance at offline retailers.
As a Product Head the role includes -
Job Responsibilities:
- Setting up of product strategy and roadmap.
- Ideate new product features and improve existing features as a product leader.
- Work collaboratively with business, cross functional teams, engineers and designers to develop best-in-class products; define go-to-market strategy, pricing behavior and sales strategy.
- Institute a research based consultative process to introduce product changes and build broad consensus.
- Prioritise requirements and development effort based on pressing business needs and strategic interests.
- Build a clear roadmap for feature level development and translate the requirements to associates, engineers, and designers. Ensure timely and high-quality execution.
- Build a customer feedback process and integrate that with product development and product strategy improvement.
- Stay abreast of key consumer and commercial market trends, performance / financial metrics in the effort to build best-in-class product.
Experience and Knowledge:
- Should have minimum 8 years of experience with at least 2 years working in internet product companies; or an entrepreneur who has built excellent products.
- Deep passion for integrating customer needs, product design and technology.
- Highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial drive to excel.
- Study market trends, visualize customer needs and evaluate gaps in product portfolio.
- Monitor progress through well-defined business metrics.
