Description Manufacturing is a complex industry and custom manufacturing makes it even more complex. The head of product is expected to be a thought leader and define the product vision of the company with respect to solution for customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. Use cutting edge technology to define the solutions around the problems to be solved for different set of users. Someone who keeps business and problem solving at core while using product and technology. With a suite of products working together, it becomes important to have a strong view on the product road-map for the complete suite. We require someone to lead the effort who can define the vision for the complete product suite and at the same time go in detail to define road-map for individual products for the next 3 months, 6 months and a year. The head of product is expected to lead and inspire the team to think out of the box to solve the problems as well as coordinate strongly with the engineering team to define the technological solutions. The head of product is also expected to have a very strong business sense to be able to make products which see high traction from the business stakeholders and align with business strategy. Background/Experience (Industry/Domain expertise required to do the job) B.tech / MBA from a tier-1 - built products from scratch - ability to think about challenges and solutions based on business problems - translate business requirements into tech solutions Skill (Traits required to do the job) Drive multiple product lines - Ownership of PDR - Team Management Capabilities (Behaviors&nbsp;and Potential)&nbsp; 1) Out of the box thinking in defining solutions 2) High bias for data and process with strong analytical thinking. 3) Bias for action achieved through ruthless prioritization. 4) High customer centricity by keeping the users while defining solutions 5) Challenging the status quo exhibited by questioning the existing process and way of working and suggesting out of the box solutions. 6) Strong business sense exhibited through solutions which are business centric and see immediate traction
