JOB DESCRIPTION:-

Position / Grade: Product Head - Home Solutions

Designation: Assistant Vice President

Department, Function: Product Management

Location: Mumbai

Reports To (Position): CPMO

This individual will be responsible for building consumer preference and establishing category leadership for the brand by developing innovative products. Based on deep understanding of market gaps & consumer need states and effective Go-to-market strategies this role will drive the organisation towards achieving its vision of helping each household of India.

The ideal candidate will be a top performer and leader, a skilled problem solver, high energy yet outcome focused, super excited about creating a new category, naturally entrepreneurial and possessing a high degree of comfort with fast-pace and an ever-evolving space.

Key Responsibilities

(That are significant in achieving the objectives of the job)

- Consumer Understanding: Develop deep understanding of Consumer and Market need gaps to develop new products & value propositions

- Category Growth: Develop the category marketing strategy and product roadmap to grow the category revenue

- NPD & GTM: Ensure consistent execution of product lifecycle processes from concept to launch (GTM), working closely with sales, design and engineering teams

- Drive P&L: Own and drive the category P&L

- Increase Market Share: Enhance existing product offerings and customer experience to increase market share

- Influence User Journey: Work closely with tech team to develop/improve the user journey experience

- Improve Customer Experience: Work with teams like Customer Service, Operations etc. to improve our customer retention, identify avenues for cross-selling/up-selling at a product level and improving unit economics

- Work closely with business development / sales to meet category revenue targets

Experience Required

(Minimum relevant or equivalent industry experience required Please also state what might be desirous / advantageous)

- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in B2C Category Marketing /Product Management/NPD role.

- Experience of building/disproportionately growing new categories in consumer space will be a big plus

Academia (The minimum / critical qualifications you deem necessary for this profile.)

- MBA from a reputed institute
