Head Product - Financial Solutions


Key objective:

- Product Management. Including both innovation & renovation

- Responsible for Product P&L

- Product life cycle management basis a strong consumer understanding

- Product marketing across both B2B & B2C

- Support Business growth (revenue, new acquisition & renewal, Client Servicing, Product offering and pricing customization)

- Strategic alliance and partnerships Duties And Responsibilities (That are significant in achieving the objectives of the job)

- Product management of existing portfolio basis regular performance analysis, identification of key gaps & building new products and/ or modifying existing products to address. Also needs a strong end consumer behavior understanding to design accordingly

- Support strategic product priorities for business for driving continuous growth in subscriber base & increasing revenue realized from each consumer by cross selling & upgrading

- Competition Analysis- to keep close tap on competition and develop key differentiation with compelling customer proposition, to support launch innovative, industry first programs to maintain product superiority in the market place.

- Product planning & development for segment wise penetration, support in designing customized programs for partnerships & Channels

- Track various Product performance metrics like, Product Mix, Channel mix, SKU contribution & category P&L, new customers acquisitions, revenue generated and renewal metrics

- Partner Management - Partner evaluation & partnerships including insurance companies & service partners, commercials & SLA management to optimize product Cost & customer experience

- Internal Team Management- Job will require coordination with various internal team

- Customized Product and pricing - Support the Business with customized product and pricing offerings.

- Support Business/Sales teams across products & channels in sales & program management to meet quarterly business volumes and value

- Understand the partners' business and define ways and means to drive value to them to enhance our business share

- Develop channel support & customer promotions from time to time to drive subscriber base growth

- Design & Support training aids & material for the business and customer service team

- Process design & automation drive to enhance superior customer journey

- Strategic Partnership, customized process and product designing.

Experience Required (Minimum relevant or equivalent industry experience required Please also state what might be desirous / advantageous): 4 to 5 years of core experience in the B2C fintech product category

Academia (The minimum / critical qualifications you deem necessary for this profile):

- MBA with Engineering / Finance background will be an advantage Skills, Abilities, And Competencies (Required to successfully perform this job)

- Product management with new product development skills

- Understanding of the mobile & web ecosystem, especially innovations happening in this space

- Skilled in process/project management

- Good understanding of consumer trends & behaviors

Behavioral Attributes:

- Ability to break down a complex problem into logical components, from product and tech perspective.

- Should be able to clearly define the problem statement, the solution, strategy etc. in a product spec

- Should have a grasp of what problems we want to solve for customers

- Ability to identify gaps, walk backwards from the user and structure features/solutions to the same

- Ability to work well with different teams like engineering, sales, insurance & pitch an idea to leadership in a convincing manner

- Produce high quality product specifications (User Stories) and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product launch to deliver key capabilities on time.
