Job Description

- Leading the Product team for the Retail Product Suite
- Product launch - plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
- Strategic Alliances- Entering into strategic alliances with various manufacturers ang chain of stores to offer them the most viable deals to increase the sales numbers
- Market intelligence - be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them
- Demand generation - develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products
- Encourages discussions/ feedback mechanisms on product themes with key clients, brokers/ DSAs and understand their needs & help to develop product strategies customised to their requirements
- Constantly reviews the product basket and recommend changes for competitiveness and improving customer experience/ organizational profitability
- Sets up an effective product training mechanism for the sales teams and channel partners for effective sales
- Responsible for delivering the look and feel of the overall product collateral/presentation in accordance with segmentation requirements for each business segment
- Leads product pricing and channel costing for each customer segment and product segment and accordingly
- Oversees the development of product specifications in the IT systems, accounting systems and undertake necessary documentations for process notes, approval matrix, etc for the same
- Undertakes risk, regulatory and compliance assessments for all new product development and existing product modifications
- Ensures compliance and adherence to internal compliance policies, NBFC guidelines and external regulatory (SEBI/RBI) guidelines in product design
- Demonstrated competence with Sales, business development, product know-how, marketing data research, analytics, assortment mix management & knowing the pulse of the market
- Strategic marketing, portfolio management, and new product introduction expert
- Expertise in innovations & launching product in the competitive markets
- Define new products and features with specs, wire frames, and product flows
- Analyze the user impact of product features and define key metrics for success
- Should have expertise in managing the campaigns for promotions of various products along with the marketing teams
