Product Engineering Lead - Manufacturing

Deliverables

- Create a world-class design team

- Ensure that designs produced by the team are world-class

- Improve the turn-around time of each design project

- Ensure coordination between all the cross-functional departments such that designs are well understood and executed on shop-floors for production

- Nurture creativity and innovation in the team to create designs for new products

- Contribute and drive Operational Excellence projects

- Support the Sales Teams in Pre-Sales efforts

Core Performance Metrics

Turn-around time for designs, Leadership Development, Skill Development, and Operational Excellence in Manufacturing (through-put time, cost of manufacturing, quality and number of complaints)

Desired Skills

- Must have led a design team of at least 20 people

- Must have led a design team for at least 15 years

- Must have knowledge of ASME standards

- Must have done design-work for chemical or process equipment

Education

Engineering degree; ideally Mechanical or Chemical Engineer
