Product Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

- At Max Life Insurance, we believe in comprehensiveness and always staying ahead of industry.

- To enable this, we have a carved out a new role which is more dynamic and techno-digital- Product Engineer.

- The PE role is an amalgamation of Digital Product Management and Technology roles so that the individual gets to grow, learn and contribute in both the pillars of product.

- This role is like a mini-CEO role and the person will be responsible solely for the product from brick to building.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Partner with business teams to define business requirements to meet the product objectives. Ensure requirements are within our business standards and guidelines and align to our digital strategy and vision.

- Use innovation frameworks coupled with agile and continuous development methodologies that drive divergent thinking, product visioning to rapidly build digital solutions that convert ideas into real outcomes.

- Involved in creating a prototype and ensuring that product is tested for technical robustness

- Communicate, collaborate and negotiate with key stakeholders (business groups, control groups etc.)

- Manage, groom and prioritize the scrum's backlog and work with the team to plan for delivery.

- Work with operations and technical teams to research and resolve production issues. Clarify ambiguities and customer experience based on business requirements and product activities

- Managing the Information Security and Compliance risks for the product.

Key competencies/skills required :

- 9-12 years of experience in one or a combination of the following:; digital customer experience, digital product/Platform management, digital platforms, or digital consulting

- Experience in product management/development, program management, strategy, marketing and/or related position in a consumer-oriented, technology dependent environment in financial services or related industries

- Should have experience of implementation end to end platforms for a value chain

- Should have worked on Agile Methodologies with exposure to tools like Jira etc.

-Should have good understanding of latest technology and tools available in market. Also, should be able to apply tech knowledge in day to day interaction with internal as well as eternal stakeholders

- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a Tier 1 or 2 college.

- MBA from a Tier 1 or 2 Institute is preferred.

- Understanding of sales and marketing, have strategic bent of mind, and some exposure to digital tools

- Marketing and research experience is must.

Desired qualifications & experience:

- Preferably B.E / MCA from a reputed institute

- Overall 9-12 years of experience in QA domain
