Client Details

Our Client is a big name is consumer durable space. They are looking to hire a Product Head.

Description

Reporting to the Business Head, you will be responsible to:

- Assist with managing the product development process from the concept phase to the post-launch analysis phase

- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering and design tasks

- Get Involved in new product concept brainstorming meetings

- Liaison with domestic and overseas vendors for Product Development from artwork to product specifications, sculpting, and sample approval. Negotiate pricing with oversees vendors

- Set up item number and other development information in item master while updating and maintaining it

- Ensure the accuracy of product and packaging samples and seek approvals required

- Approve the final product photography and ensure that the catalogue photography is accurate

- Ensure deadlines are met to obtain samples for promotion

- Initiate collateral requests within the Creative Department and/or with outside service vendors

- Work for Quality Compliance regarding compliance issues

Profile

- Min 8 yrs experience

- Fans Industry only; no other product/industry will be relevant

- Product Development/Vendor development experience mandatory

- Good understanding of the domestic vendors, their capacities, capabilities and quality standards specific to fan industry

- Strong detail orientation with the ability to work with domestic vendors is a must

- Knowledge of processes - electrical, Mechanical, Motor winding data, Air performance and other related to fan product

- Knowledge of standard manufacturing processes and practices and freezing specifications and implementation
