Product Development Head - Buyers - B2B Online Marketplace (10-12 yrs)

The opportunity is with one of India's largest online B2B marketplace.

The Product Head of Buyers side marketplace will prepare & execute the product & technology roadmap that addresses company's business needs and will be responsible for the buyers- engagement, experience and conversion. It involves getting more visitors, their engagement and conversion, defining technology & user experience for the buyers/sellers on the web & mobile as well as the user & product admin.

1. Plan, develop, implement & monitor strategy for marketplace development and management, while considering first and foremost about the buyers and their preferences

2. Traffic Generation - using web promotion, alliances, SEO, SEM to increase the number of buyers and buy leads from global & domestic buyers

3. Usability & User Engagement - enhance user experience by improving functional usability, feature addition, ensuring accuracy & quality of content offered

4. Increase buyer conversions- improve conversions, PVs per visitor, re-activation, MAU/DAU etc.

5. Fulfillment tracking - Post inquiry tracking fulfillment of transactions, buyers- feedback and overall experience.

6. Engineering & Technology - to manage the complete backend and ensure speedy delivery of products

7. Product Development - for the buyers. Developing multiple products from the buyers- perspective. Develop and monitor measurable product line based success matrices for monitoring of all activities.

8. Alliances - partner companies for traffic generation, lead generation, co-branded properties

Experience:

Overall 9 - 12 years of experience in handling product and technology for high-volume websites / web services.

Skill Sets:

1. Understanding of key performance indicators, business requirements, and other areas such as SEO, SEM, user interface optimization, content personalization and search. Good hold on social media marketing, user engagement & product conceptualization & development

2. Strong business & technical vision with the ability to understand user requirements & drive superior participation & engagement

3. Data analytics

4. Strong leadership skills to manage people

5. Strong project management skills

Qualification:

B.Tech and MBA from tier 1 institution

Expected Salary for this position is 50 to 60 Lacs p.a.
