POSITION: - Product Designer Lead/Senior UX-UI Designer

LOCATION: - Chandigarh

WORKING HOURS:- 10AM - 6PM (Monday to Friday)

TRAINING TIME: London/UK Shift

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conduct user research activities with key stakeholders to gain understanding of the business, the products, the digital medium, and target audience needs.

2. Study and understand the existing features and functions of our systems along with its constraints to put together a customer-centred UX improvement plan

3, Research, design and specify UX requirements for new web or mobile application developments, including documentation for:

- User journeys, site maps, and flow-charts

- -UX design rules

- -Interactions and interfaces

- -Wire-framing and prototyping

4. Working closely with business analysts, developers, UI designers in regular design reviews and other collaborative efforts to ensure delivery of the best user experience

5. Presenting UX design proposals to the project team and key stakeholders

6. Conduct usability testing on design concepts to provide confidence in the design

7. Planning and working flexibly to a deadline

8. Keeping up to date with technical and industry UX developments

EXPERIENCE:

Mandatory

1. Established experience as a UX Designer, UX Architect, Product Designer or similar role with a proven track record of UX design for deliveries across a range of systems, devices (mobile apps) and websites

2. Exceptional UX design skills. This must be your strong suit.

3. Exposure to web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS and HTML

4. Experience working on mobile platforms

5. Experience conducting user research and usability testing

Desirable

1. Working knowledge of the sales and marketing industry

2. Working knowledge in the fashion, media, sports or entertainment industries

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Mandatory

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

2. Strong conceptualization ability and strong visual communication skills

3. Up-to-date with current UX design trends and usability best practice

4. Strong working knowledge of industry standard wire-framing/prototyping and user flow tools

5. Think mobile first in applying functional UX design across multiple devices (mobile, desktop, tablets, websites)

6. Excellent strategic thinking and planning

7. Solid understanding of SDLC

8. Working with major project management methodologies (Agile, Prince2 etc.)

9. Experience with using UI/UX tools such as Sketch (Preferable), Axure, InVision, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, etc

QUALIFICATIONS:

Mandatory

- Educated to a degree level

Desirable

- A portfolio of previously developed UX designs and documentation

- A background in creative/interactive design, psychology, computer science, research or a related field
