Role - Market & industry analysis on the basis of customer experience - Preparing strategy, roadmap &amp; plan to design outstanding product from the existing market - Conduct market survey, analysis of existing product suites, associated target markets/competitors to provide in-depth industry, market and competitive analysis to assist in the identification and evaluation of new product opportunities - Analyze necessary market research studies for assessment and superior understanding of consumer usage attitudes, industry products performance trends to define target segments needs and evaluate their impact on product strategy plans. - Coordinate with other design team members to ensure consistent and accurate communication. - Modify and revise existing designs to meet changing customer preferences. - Work closely with product engineers to suggest improvements for products and processes. - Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Requirements - Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing - An intuitive eye for customer needs beyond the obvious - Passionate about impacting the lives of users in emerging markets. - Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to design for platforms such as desktop and mobile, Android and iOS. - Communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and designs effectively, oral and written. - Obsession with end users - who they are and how they use the product - to craft best possible experience for them. - Able to function independently and in a team environment with solid collaboration skills. - Knows the art of negotiation to arrive at a balanced view on what is and is not a priority from a business and technical point-of view - Experience of creating useful and usable products specially insurance or investment product
